Wealth assets
Fiber starts with gold, silver, BTC, and ETH — a short list for preserving wealth privately, not a token flea market.
Fiber is not trying to list every asset that can fit in a JSON file.
At launch, the core wealth set is intentionally small:
- Gold
- Silver
- Bitcoin
- Ethereum
That is a product decision, not a temporary shortage of enthusiasm.
Why the list is short
Early Fiber optimizes for privacy, simplicity, and long-term holding.
A gigantic asset catalog makes the app feel busy, multiplies edge cases, and nudges people toward speculative thrashing. We would rather support assets people already recognize as stores of value or foundational crypto collateral.
| Asset | Why it is here |
|---|---|
| Gold | Long-standing store of value outside fiat systems |
| Silver | Another widely understood precious-metal hedge |
| Bitcoin | The default digital scarce asset |
| Ethereum | Core crypto collateral and onchain financial base layer |
More assets later
Coverage will expand when liquidity, privacy support, infrastructure readiness, and actual user demand justify it. That may include more crypto assets, stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets, or other financial products.
The filter stays the same: does this belong in a private, self-custodial wealth app, or is it just inventory?
Custom tokens
Crypto users hold weird things. Fiber accounts for that.
Custom tokens can still live in a Fiber account, and those accounts remain private inside the app. The depth of privacy and product support can differ by token, chain, and available infrastructure. Some assets will get first-class flows over time. Others may start with narrower functionality.
We are not pretending every meme coin deserves the same treatment as gold. We are also not pretending users only hold four tickers.
